Mr. Dietz is involved with Parting the Waters, an eight-hour mini-series for ABC.
In 1993, Mr. Dietz founded the Producers Club of Maryland, Inc., a not for profit corporation to help the Maryland Film Office attract more film and television production to
Maryland. The organization represents business leaders from around the state and has been instrumental in a significant increase in the film business in
Maryland in the past few years.
The Producers Club owns the Maryland Regional Production Guide, the only comprehensive "yellow pages" for film and television production companies; has its own Web site geared to the Guide (www.mdrpg.com); and organized a production conference, REELMaryland, for local businesses who want to learn more about the opportunities for increased business with production companies. The Producers Club funds and administers the Producers Club of Maryland Filmmakers Fellowship each year in partnership with Sundance Labs. The Producers Club has organized numerous premier screenings and marketing events on both coasts.

San Francisco and produced a project for the Stephen Cohen Gallery and the New York International Photo Expo. The project, a cross-country collaboration/installation, was an experience in "herding cats" a skill she brings to the festival. Melina started volunteering for the festival in 2002 and joined part-time in 2007 assisting Taryn Gentry with grant-writing and development.

Scott Braid Tent Village Coordinator
Scott Braid emerged from the woods some years back. It was discovered that he had been raised by owls but refused to let them regurgitate anything that wasn't vegetarian into his mouth. Eventually, he had to leave or face malnourishment. Since emerging from the woods he discovered that in addition to the natural world, he loved film and music. He is satisfying the latter love by playing with a band called LO MOdA and making music on his own. He satisfies the former by watching many films, working at MFF and hatching secret plans late at night. He sometimes returns to the woods to converse with his brothers and sisters.
